Rev. Yomi Adegboye, founder and pastor of Harvest-time Word of faith Ministries, was born again in his final year at college, and began to feel the tug of God's call on his life. Rev. Yomi served in his local church, where his calling and leadership potentials began to develop and be recognized. In 1991, he entered the University of Lagos to study Architecture. While there, he conducted Bible seminars and campmeetings, and began to be in demand for church and para-church meetings. In his last year at the university, he began to sense the call of God on his life to pioneer and pastor a church. As a step towards that, a Sunday afternoon service was started in the Yaba area of Lagos in August 1998, a few months before he completed his university education.
In 1999, Rev. Yomi was ordained. The following week, Rev. Yomi started Harvest Time Christian Centre at Ojodu and began pastoring a group of 8.
The name of the church was changed to Harvest Time Word of Faith Church in 2001. Rev. Yomi designs and updates Web sites as a sideline to his calling as pastor and Bible teacher. He lives in Lagos with his wife, Mojisola.
