One cannot sincerely study the New Testament half of the Bible without being confronted with the revelation of God as Father to the believer. To the world, He is God. To the believer, He is Father.

Quite a number of believers are still missing out on the worry –free , joyful, and abundant life that their heavenly Father has for them. They are choking on the goodness of God. Simply put, they are not responding to his Fatherhood.

For example, God’s Word tells us to cast all our anxieties and worries on Him. But some of God’s children walk around looking like the last rose of summer.

1 Peter 5;7
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Our heavenly Father wants us to go through life without a care or worry. Personally, I am so glad to know that I do not have to carry the cares and burdens of this life. I had been so burdened about different things at different times, that when I saw that God wanted me carefree and worry-free, I didn’t ask any questions about it. I responded in faith to His Fatherhood. And some people are worried about that!

I haven’t worried about a thing in six years. Oh, I have been tempted to worry. But I simply refuse to. My heavenly Father says, “I can take care of the situation. I’m not worried about it, so don’t be.” As far as I’m concerned that settles the matter.

Mathew 7:11
11 If ye then, being (naturally) evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, HOW MUCH MORE SHALL YOUR FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN GIVE GOOD THINGS TO THEM THAT ASK HIM?

Think about that: how much more! Aren’t you thankful that you have a caring and generous Father? Instead of worrying yourself sick and having sleeping nights, you can tuck yourself in every night and sleep well. Ask Him for the things you need; cast the cares upon Him and leave them all, with Him. Believe me, there is nothing like the peace and confidence that comes from knowing that the heavenly Father is on the job!
